The Nasdaq composite fell 35 points, or 0.5 percent, to 6,336. Equities in Asia were trading mixed in Thursday's trade, although geopolitical tensions continue to weigh on the Asian equities. Meanwhile, gold demand in India remained sluggish this week as local prices jumped to their highest level in almost three months and a rally in global prices dampened fresh buying elsewhere in Asia.
