House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler said Tuesday he will go to court as soon as possible to get the evidence and the witnesses in front of his panel.
"If the department proceeds in good faith and we are able to obtain everything that we need, then there will be no need to take further steps", House judiciary committee Chair Jerrold Nadler said Monday. He added that all members of the committee will be able to view the materials.
"I am pleased to announce that the Department of Justice has agreed to begin complying with our committee's subpoena by opening Robert Mueller's most important files to us, providing us with key evidence that the Special Counsel used to assess whether the President and others obstructed justice or were engaged in misconduct", Nadler said in his statement on Monday.
For weeks Barr has resisted a subpoena from Nadler's committee for a full, unredacted version of Mueller's 448-page final report and underlying evidence.
In public remarks May 29, Mueller said his office could not consider whether to charge Trump with a crime because of a long-standing Justice Department opinion that a sitting president cannot be indicted.
That ban has extended beyond the Mueller report to Democratic investigations into the administration's attempt to add a question on citizenship status to the 2020 census, issues related to Trump's immigration policy, Trump's business affairs and other matters. Subsequently, just like they do on MSNBC, Joyce Vance and Barbara McQuade did an excellent job outlining Trump's obstruction and highlighting Mueller's findings.
A resolution being voted on in the House would make it easier for Democrats to sue members of President Donald Trump's administration and other potential witnesses who refuse to comply with subpoenas.
And a majority of voters - 53 percent - said Trump committed offenses that are grounds for impeachment, compared to 39 percent who disagreed.
"That is very, very serious, and we need to get to the bottom of it and we need to know who participated in that from Russian Federation, from the United States or from both", Hoyer said. Both he and Barr refused to cooperate at the direction of the White House.

Implicitly urging the House Democrats to launch impeachment proceedings against Trump, he said: "In many ways the Mueller report is to President Trump what the so-called Watergate road map... was to President Richard Nixon".
Dean laughed, and said "I did, actually".
Mr. Dean told the panel Mr. Trump's firing of former FBI Director James Comey paralleled Mr. Nixon's "Saturday night massacre" firing of special counsel Archibald Cox.
Representative Eric Swalwell (D-CA) on Tuesday was asked to rate former Nixon White House counsel John Dean's performance in highlighting President Donald Trump's wrongdoing.
Appearing on CNN, Dean said he would draw comparisons in his testimony between actions documented in the Mueller report and the Watergate scandal.
But many Republicans have criticised the hearings, saying now that the Mueller report is out, it is time to move on.
The Democrats further worry that impeachment would weaken the ability of USA imperialism to carry out its aggressive and militarist agenda around the world, which they fully support.
The investigations that Democrats will be freer to pursue following Tuesday's vote are seen as an internal compromise - one that enables them to try to uncover as much as they can about Trump for use as political ammunition, while stopping short of impeachment.
