Donald Trump meets Theresa May while protesters rally in London

US President Donald Trump inspects a Guard of Honour at Buckingham Palace

"As the UK makes preparations to exit the European Union, the United States is committed to a phenomenal trade deal between the USA and the UK", Trump told a joint news conference with U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May on Tuesday during his state visit to London. "I think there's a great opportunity to greatly enlarge that, especially now", he said.

"Donald Trump is the poster boy for the far-right movement, and that's giving him even more credibility", he said, before adding that inviting the President Trump was "a mistake".

Speaking at a joint press conference with prime minister (for now) Theresa May, the United States president said "I think we're going to have a great, very comprehensive trade deal". Trump will turn from pageantry to policy on Tuesday as he joins British Prime Minister Theresa May for a day of talks likely to highlight fresh uncertainty in the allies' storied relationship.

One journalist present interrupted to ask whether the NHS would be on the table, to which Trump responded: "Look, I think everything with a trade deal is on the table".

The dinosaur expert, who usually makes models of prehistoric creatures, says people in Britain need to know there are Americans who don't support Trump.

Trump, on a three-day state visit to London with his wife Melania, viewed the document with May and her husband Philip ahead of talks at her Downing Street residence.

"When you're dealing with trade, everything is on the table".

The two are meeting in London, just days before May is to step down as party leader Friday, setting in motion a race to succeed her as prime minister.

Mr McDonnell said any deal done between the two allies was "frightening" and would risk making things "worse".

In his toast, Trump reaffirmed the close ties between London and Washington, noting the countries' joint effort in defeating Nazi Germany during World War II.

The "Trump Baby" blimp, a giant balloon that depicts the president in diapers holding an iPhone, will serve as the focal point of the protests just a year after it dominated headlines during the president's last visit to the United Kingdom. "Either she doesn't know Trump or she's trolling him".

The anti-Trump rally sees a return of the Baby Trump blimp, which depicts the president as a whiny diapered baby clutching a cellphone.

As Prime Minister Theresa May meets President Donald Trump in Downing St., leaders of Britain's political opposition will be joining protesters just up the street.

That is why May is nearing the end of her premiership and a leadership contest is underway within the Conservative Party to replace her.

Trump said the two countries could do two to three times that amount of trade they're now conducting.

And, as a member of the 28-state EU, Britain must abide by its standards for goods and services - which differ from those in the U.S. That means certain U.S. products - like chicken, which can be washed chemicals like chlorine in the U.S. - can't be sold in Britain.

British officials are considering whether to let Chinese telecoms firm Huawei work on parts of the country's new 5G wireless communications network.
