Donald Trump Asks Theresa May To "Stick Around" For Trade Deal

It took eight months for Graeme Hewards cancer to be diagnosed

With a growing contingent of protesters gathering nearby, Donald Trump has promised British Prime Minister Theresa May the United States would do a "very substantial trade" deal with the United Kingdom after Brexit.

But the collapse of Ms May's premiership over Brexit and Mr Trump's penchant for ignoring the conventions of modern diplomacy have made the trip one of the most unconventional state visits in recent British history.

"We are going to have absolutely an agreement on Huawei and everything else", Trump said during the joint news conference with May in London.

Theresa May's news conference with Donald Trump had an "end of era" feel to it.

Organisers, who wore red jumpsuits and hats marked "Trump Babysitters" had earlier launched the orange inflatable Baby blimp, prompting huge cheers from onlookers. "This is not a Burger King buffet at Mar-a-Lago", the Queen told Trump in the clip.

"His climate denying is unbelievable, his foreign policy, everything about him", the 53-year-old said.

But it comes at an especially chaotic time for Britain. May is stepping down as leader of the Conservative Party on Friday and the race to succeed her has already begun with the victor expected to take over as prime minister in July. Ms.

She will stay on as prime minister until her successor is found among 13 contenders who must make some hard choices before the twice-delayed Brexit deadline on October 31.

Real Madrid sign Luka Jovic on six-year deal
Real Madrid have completed the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic on a six-year contract until 2025, subject to passing a medical.

But Trump said on Tuesday he wasn't contemplating any cutoff for Britain because he said he's sure the two sides will come to an agreement on Huawei.

He spoke by phone with former Foreign Minister and former London mayor Boris Johnson and said on Tuesday he thought Johnson "would do a good job".

He appeared to try to make amends for his diplomatic faux pas on Tuesday. This could include its loan to the United States, they said.

China was also on the agenda, as the United States has been pushing its European allies not to let Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei help build their 5G networks over security concerns. Looking a bit puzzled, he replied "no", the Independent reported. Secretary of State Pompeo threatened last month that Britain's ability to share intelligence information with the United States might be on the line.

May told the business breakfast that Britain will strive to strike a "wider economic partnership" with its closest trading partner outside the EU. "We did discuss it, I see absolutely no limitations, we have never had limitations, this is a truly great ally and partner and we will have no problem with that". The late show host poked fun at the visit, which included a meeting with the Queen - in which she gave Trump a first edition of Winston Churchill's The Second World War.

Trump, on a three-day state visit to London with his wife Melania, viewed the document with May and her husband Philip ahead of talks at her Downing Street residence.

Trump's day will be rounded off with dinner at the USA ambassador's residence.

Be it projecting influence for peace, standing ready to fight, or delivering vital aid around the world, HMS Queen Elizabeth and her sister ship HMS Prince of Wales, will fly the flag of a Global Britain.
