Kentucky Rep.: AOC Must Apologize to Crenshaw Before Coal Mine Visit

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, is welcome to come to Kentucky and tour a coal mine, but first she needs to apologize., says Rep. Andy Barr, R-Ky.

Ocasio-Cortez said USA policy toward Israel should be affected by the proposed annexation, and there are "conversations happening in our caucus".

Ocasio-Cortez then shared her truth.

Stepping into the dustup, Ocasio-Cortez tweeted: "In 2018, right-wing extremists were behind nearly ALL US domestic terrorist killings. Why don't you go do something about that?"

Ocasio-Cortez was reacting to criticism by Crenshaw - a retired Navy SEAL who lost an eye fighting al-Qaida - of Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar's characterization of 9/11 as "some people did something."

The New York Democrat said on Yahoo News's Skullduggery podcast that she has stopped using her Facebook account - even though her official page remains active and still runs active advertisements sponsored by her campaign, according to the Washington Post.

The freshman congresswoman, who became a rising star in the party after scoring a shocking victory against a high ranking Democrat past year, said she hasn't picked a 2020 candidate to support.

The New York Post denounced Omar on their cover on Thursday, which featured an image of the Twin Towers ablaze after the planes hit with the words "Here's Your Something".

"This is a really dishonest attack, and let me tell you how I am for 9/11 victims and 9/11 first-responders".

But Barr in the Friday letter said Ocasio-Cortez's remarks about Crenshaw go too far.

On Fox News's Special Report, Continetti responded to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's (D., Calif.) frustration with President Donald Trump's tweet about House Democrats failing to pass their spending bill.

"Not a day went by when she wasn't spoken about on Fox", the Associated Press notes.
