Apple Card Hopes to Oppose Bitcoin but Still Lacks Privacy

Apple Announces Gaming Subscription Service

There will be no annual, international, late, or over-the-limit fees. If customers miss a payment, they will not be charged a penalty rate.

The Apple Card simplifies application processes, eliminates hidden charges, and also encourages them to pay lesser interest.

Apple launched its new subscription service Apple News+ a couple of days ago.

Jennifer Bailey, Apple's Vice President of Apple Pay, said that this new feature is created to help and encourage users to live a better financial life through understanding how they spend their money and balancing the time that they use on their phones.

"If any of them had made a decision to throw their weight around by threatening to sever ties with any card network that played ball with Apple Pay, (then) Visa and Mastercard would not have allowed the service to get off the ground". The physical version of the card has no numbers, and the digital version lives in your Apple Wallet on your phone, where it's protected by Face ID or Touch ID so even if someone steals your phone they won't be able to use the card to buy things. The purchases made are also automatically totaled and are organized by categories with color-codes.

First, let's talk about the benefits and unique features offered by the Apple Card. Riding on the success of Apple Pay, the company is betting that its users will make Apple Card an indispensable part of their daily financial transactions, and if that is the case, they will continue to use the iPhone and will not turn to other brands.

When Apple does something, other companies tend to follow.

Trying to expand the offering of games on Apple TV, an unprepared service on which noone was looking for them, was always doomed to failure. Instead, it's just the Apple logo and your name, which should quell any fears you may have about someone using it. "We're thrilled to give viewers a sneak peek of Apple TV+ and can not wait for them to tune in starting this fall".

Apple is spending US$1 billion (NZ$1.4 billion) on original TV shows and movies, including projects from the likes of Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey.

At the same event, Apple announced a few different subscriptions coming soon, including AppleTV+, Apple News+, and Apple Arcade. "Apple Pay simply would not have happened without the support of the big banks". The app will work on its connected devices and those of competitors including smart TV devices from Samsung, LG Electronics, Vizio, Roku, Sony and Amazon. Of course, there is enough variety of reading material which includes around 300 magazines together with some of the most sought after newspaper publications as well.

Large banks such as JPMorgan Chase & Co and Bank of America Corp have pledged to introduce more so-called contactless cards in the United States, prompting larger merchants and transit systems around the USA to accept them. Nor have, in fact, most other major USA newspapers.

Essentially, Apple's service takes the form of a monthly subscription that provides unlimited access to a curated selection of paid titles on the App Store; it sounds sort of like Xbox Game Pass. The platform will launch in fall 2019 in more than 150 countries. The app will launch with over 100 games, all accessible offline.

"We look at this as net new consumers", said Doug Olson, president of Meredith Magazines, whose publications in the app include Martha Stewart Living, People and Real Simple.

Mr Brislen said Apple Arcade would appeal to "hardcore gamers" who would be happy to pay once and play without restrictions. Also, there is going to be the nearly legendary Apple assurance of adhering to the highest order of security and privacy to ensure user's data does not become the fodder for running targeted ad campaigns.
