Ocasio-Cortez’s ‘Unfavorable’ Rating Jumps 15 Points Two Months Into Term

Fox News Finds Way to Attack AOC After Christchurch Massacre

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., on Friday blasted the National Rifle Association after 49 people were killed in shootings at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. Thirty-one percent of respondents expressed a favorable opinion compared to 24 percent in the earlier survey.

After her victory a year ago, Ocasio-Cortez has floated several radical proposals, including raising taxes on wealthy Americans to 70 percent.

Gallup further noted that Ocasio-Cortez's favorable rating was "underwater" among the majority of groups and was only viewed as favorable among 56% of Democrats.

"Of course they do reside in the United States".

Ocasio-Cortez's unfavorabiity rose in large part due to Republicans - 73 percent in the latest poll, up from 21 points since September.

He said "assurances were given" that once such content was pulled down, a regime would make sure it did not go back up. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez mocking the idea of "thoughts and prayers" and calling for "policy change" instead.

The 29-year-old congresswoman also embarrassed herself during a House Oversight Committee Hearing this last week when she questioned Wells Fargo's CEO.

That's up from 26% last September, in the wake of her primary win over longtime Representative Joe Crowley.

Hosts on the morning show Fox & Friends mocked Ocasio-Cortez for having "expensive tastes" for a socialist.

Ocasio-Cortez shot back at Fox News for judging what she wore. The conservative network criticized Ocasio-Cortez when she was a congresswoman-elect, for appearing to wear expensive clothing while saying she could not afford an apartment in Washington, D.C. She is most liked by Democrats with a 41 point net-favorable rating and most disliked by Republicans with a 68 point net-unfavorable rating.
