Vivo Apex 2019 Is Vivo’s First 5G Smartphone, Has ZERO Ports

Vivo Apex 2019 concept phone may have no ports, notches, bezels, or buttons

The 5G-compatible smartphone is expected be powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset and will be available in 256GB and 512GB storage variants with 12GB RAM, equipped with Artificial Intelligent (AI) assistant "Jovi", the company said in a statement.Vivo NEX Smartphone With Pop-Up Selfie Camera Price in India Officially Reduced To Rs 39,990 - Report.

The Apex 2019 has no visible speaker too, so it uses screen-sound technology.

As it has no physical speakers, the phone uses its screen to produce sound, much like the Meizu Zero. What made those stand out from other insane concept devices by companies not popular in the West though, was the fact that those two are stacked with technology that is bound to actually become mainstream in the near future.

Vivo announced today at a press conference in Beijing the launch of the new APEX 2019 concept smartphone. Part of this glass also serves as a set of three pressure-sensitive capacitive buttons - think HTC U12+ but with glass instead of metal - along the right hand side, and these will presumably be mapped for toggling power and volume.

U.S. shutdown: Trump angered by Democrat rejection of 'compromise'
He has also offered a similar protection for those fleeing disaster zones, all in exchange for border wall money. Schiff, California Democrat , who accused the White House on Sunday of politicking.

Vivo has a reputation for unique solutions for the selfie camera, being the first to release a pop-up selfie camera previous year.

But what makes the Vivo Apex 2019 so interesting is a full-display fingerprint sensor technology. This is Vivo's solution to free up space for the 5G modules, making the phone a true unibody 5G phone. More than APEX 2019 the phone is known for its codename "Waterdrop". Vivo has just revealed perhaps the most unusual and revolutionary device of the year: the Apex 2019 Concept, which features a unibody design with no ports or buttons, along with an in-screen fingerprint scanner that works across the whole display. This year they appear to have nixed the front facing camera entirely. The pictures further show the rear panel of the phone with two camera holes that site separately one below the other following which is the LED flash.

Interestingly Vivo hasn't dropped USB connectivity with this, and is instead featuring something called "Mag Port". Well, the Vivo Apex 2019 turns its display into a speaker! The technology will also be able to detect when there's a finger near the display. Stay tuned for updates. Charging is surprisingly not handled via wireless charging but by exposed magnetic contacts on the back of the phone.
