"We'll see" - Chelsea fans will be nervous after Eden Hazard's latest comments

Eden Hazard and Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri

Links with a move to Real Madrid for the Belgium global have persisted, with the winger recently refusing to be drawn on whether he would commit long term to Chelsea and extend a contract that expires at the end of next season.

The Belgian ace has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid, as reported recently by The Telegraph.

Hazard is out of contract in 2020 but the Chelsea attacker is yet to re-sign at Stamford Bridge amid ongoing speculation regarding a move to Madrid.

Chelsea are fourth in the Premier League table with 40 points from 19 matches.

Sarri's side head to the game following a 2-1 victory over Watford on Wednesday.

Dow closes up more than 1,000 points in best day for Wall Street in 10 years as stocks rally back from Christmas Eve beating. Markets have been marked by turbulence in recent weeks as the US government shutdown, higher USA interest rates and the U.S.

Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic wants to stay at the club beyond his loan spell with the West London giants. He has an injury in his hamstring and I think he will have to rest for about 10 days.

Some reports also suggest that Ligue 1 side AS Monaco want to sign the former Barcelona player but their poor league position could cause a big problem for this deal.

The 31-year-old alongside David Luiz and Gary Cahill are all on contracts that will expire next summer, but Sarri intends to "respect" the Blues' policy of only offering one-year extensions to players aged 30 and older. But if he is able to play like he did in the last match in the centre, then for me it is not a problem to put him in the centre.

"I want him to stay, I don't know the final decision of Cesc and the club of course". "So I think it's very hard to play here, but I think it's fantastic". Because, as you know, over 30 years the club offers only one year to renew.

Responding to suggestions Chelsea have little control over the situation, Sarri told reporters: "I don't think so".
