Ramsey contract situation 'closed', says Arsenal boss Emery

Arsenal are unbeaten in a whopping 19 matches

The ex-Germany worldwide was left on the bench by Unai Emery last week during Arsenal's 2-1 victory over Bournemouth and was unavailable for the north London derby due to injury, as doubts continue to surface about his work-rate, especially during tough away fixtures.

Arsenal beat Tottenham 4-2 at the Emirates after coming from 2-1 down in the second half for arguably the biggest statement win of Emery's short reign at the club. "Like last week in Bournemouth, and like Wednesday in Manchester".

For Tottenham, this was a third big game in nine days - following last weekend's victory over Chelsea and the midweek defeat of Inter Milan - and it felt like a bridge too far for exhausted players.

"Every single game we pick the best player to try to win".

Aubameyang had opened the scoring before an Eric Dier header and a Harry Kane spot-kick sent Spurs in ahead at half-time.

Legally Blonde's Jennifer Coolidge - portrayed as Paulette Bonaforte - was also seen giving sound advises in the song. Jonathan Bennett , who played Aaron Samuels and Stefanie Drummond , who played Bethany Byrd, both made cameos.

'In the last matches his focus is there. Aaron Ramsey is capable of playing in a deeper midfield role but Emery seems to favour the Welshman further forward.

"It was a very competitive game, it's tough for us because the fixture was after Chelsea and Inter Milan, it didn't help us, but the team was very competitive", Pochettino told Sky Sports. On the other hand, Mesut Ozil missed the sensational victory as he was dropped from the team due to some fitness issues.

But Emery said he didn't know when Ozil started struggling with the problem this week, or whether he was even at the Emirates to watch the game. Emery said he wants to move on from this win as soon as possible.

When asked whether Ozil had attended the game, he added: "I don't know".

Emery said Ozil missed out with "back ache", swerved questions about whether the German had declined to be as a substitute, and wore the air of a man less than happy with his player.
