Police intercept another suspicious package sent to CNN

MAGA bomber suspect Cesar Sayoc was banned from mother's home over his support of Trump

Investigators suspect he also sent the latest one and were conducting forensic tests to see if they could find a definitive link, another law enforcement official said. They've said the packages were staggered, and more could be somewhere in the US mail system.

A post office in Atlanta intercepted a suspicious package on Monday addressed to CNN headquarters.

Investigators say Sayoc's van, covered in pro-Trump stickers, was his home and bomb lab. Authorities say none of the devices had a trigger mechanism and Sayoc said he never meant to harm anyone. The official wasn't authorized to discuss the investigation and spoke on condition of anonymity.

Postal service continues as usual after a report of a suspicious package discovered at a US Post Office facility in Atlanta, Georgia, US, October 29, 2018.

CNN President Jeff Zucker sent a memo to staffers in which he assured them that "t$3 here is no imminent danger to the CNN Center".

The FBI said via its Twitter account that the recovered package in Atlanta was "similar in appearance" to the bubble-wrapped manila envelopes authorities say were sent by Sayoc to intended targets from DE to California, including former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former Vice-President Joe Biden.

Last week, authorities arrested 56-year-old Cesar Sayoc, who they believe responsible for sending the 14 packages.

At least some listed a return address of U.S. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, former chair of the Democratic National Committee.

Todd Gurley on sacrificing TD for Rams win: 'Forget fantasy'
After the game, Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Montgomery was specifically instructed to take a knee in the end zone. Gurley made it clear that he doesn't give a damn about any of that, though.

Sayoc briefly appeared in a Miami courtroom on Monday.

Sayoc, shackled at the wrists and ankles and wearing a tan jail jumpsuit, said little at the hearing but at one point tearing up.

Flanked by his newly retained three private attorneys, Dan Aaronson, James Scott Benjamin and Peter Patanzo, Sayoc appeared in a federal courthouse in Miami Monday afternoon.

Associated Press writer Michael Balsamo contributed from Washington.

CNN President Jeff Zucker says another suspicious package addressed to CNN was intercepted Monday at an Atlanta post office.

Later on Monday, a manila envelope bearing "some similarities" to last week's packages containing potentially explosive devices was found in an editor's mailbox.

Authorities say Sayoc faces more than 50 years in prison if convicted on all charges related to pipe bombs sent to political figures across the country.
