Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s DNA Hints At Native American Heritage

Elizabeth Warren releases DNA test suggesting Native American ancestor

Does President Donald Trump now owe Elizabeth Warren $1 million for the charity of her choice?

The first-term Democratic senator's critics have accused Warren of advancing her career by claiming minority status as a descendant of Cherokee and DE tribes.

The release of the DNA findings appear to be a way for Warren, who is expected to run for president in 2020, to put the issue at rest and remove a talking point from her opponents. That would make Warren 1/32nd Native American.

The analysis on the Massachusetts Democrat was done by Stanford University professor Carlos D. Bustamante. Elizabeth Warren publicly released DNA test results Monday that support her claims of Native American heritage.

He has dubbed Warren the "fake Pocahontas".

Warren for years has been accused of exaggerating her Native American heritage to help get a job as a Harvard law professor.

On Monday morning, Kellyanne Conway, counselor to the president, dismissed Warren's DNA test as "junk science", an early indication that Trump is not likely to follow through on the donation.

Bustamante's analysis places Warren's Native American ancestor between six and 10 generations ago, with the report estimating eight generations. But Warren's video includes testimonials from faculty at Harvard Law, the University of Houston, University of Pennsylvania Law School and UT Austin School of Law insisting Warren's professional advancement was not tied to it.

Cooper Revitalizes a Star in 'A Star Is Born'
Ally's career zooms to Grammy Award-winning heights while a drunken ME humiliates her one handle of Johnnie Walker at a time. Because the soundtrack progress chronologically in accordance to the movie storyline, light spoilers are inevitable.

That meshes with an 1894 document the New England Genealogical Society unearthed suggesting that her great-great-great-grandmother, O.C. Sarah Smith, was at least partly Native American.

"And Trump can say whatever he wants about me", she adds.

Trump then said, "And we will say, 'I will give you $1 million to your favorite charity, paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it shows you're an Indian.' And let's see what she does".

Moments later, Trump denied making such an offer: "I didn't say that", Trump told reporters at the White House.

The results, as shared with The Boston Globe, reportedly reveal "strong evidence" the MA senator had a Native American ancestor dating back six to 10 generations.

Trump added that Warren would turn the USA into Venezuela. The senator has told this story many times before.

Last month, the Boston Globe presented "the most exhaustive review" of Warren's alleged use of her alleged Native American ancestry to allegedly promote her alleged career. This is in part because Native American leaders have asked tribal members not to participate in genetic databases.
