New quadruple-camera Samsung Galaxy A9 is designed for Instagram fans

The phone unveiled at Samsung's 4X fun Galaxy A event feature a tall display and vertically stacked four camera sensors which are the highlight of the new Galaxy A smartphone. Read on to find out everything about this new Samsung smartphone.

The Galaxy A9 will be available in the Philippines on December 1, with a suggested retail price of P32,990. Meanwhile, round the front there's a 24MP selfie camera with its own.

Below it is the 24-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is powered by Snapdragon 660. Dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy A9, it comes with a four-lens rear camera setup which offers a total of 47MP. On the front, it has 6.28-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution.

Ru Bhikha, mobiles expert at uSwitch.com, said Samsung's decision to launch the A9 may be a response to the upcoming release of the year's third iPhone - the XR - and lower-than-expected sales of its S9 earlier this year.
