Jimmy Butler reportedly has requested a trade out of Minnesota

BetOnline.ag has released their odds for which team Jimmy Butler will play the first game of the regular season with after his trade request.

Butler requested a meeting with the head coach to which he requested to be traded. Butler's time with the Wolves saw Minnesota return to the National Basketball Association playoffs for the first time in over a decade.

Butler, 29, will be a free agent at the end of the 2018-19 season. At the time, Thibodeau said he wasn't concerned that perhaps Butler wanted to move on from the franchise. If reports are true that Jimmy is looking ahead to the summer of 2019 to choose what team will get his services, it would be in the Wolves best interest to trade their superstar now.

Shams Charania and Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reported that Butler has given Thibodeau a list of one-to-three teams with whom he's open to signing an extension, in anticipation of a trade.

United States ‘to spare some Apple goods’ from latest China tariffs
Washington , Europe and other trading partners say those plans violate China's market-opening commitments. President Donald Trump said he would announce his latest plan on Chinese commerce after markets closed.

Although the Heat isn't on Butler's initial list of preferred destinations, it doesn't completely rule Miami out of the race for the 6-8 forward.

Then again, it worked out pretty well for the Oklahoma City Thunder with Paul George, and it didn't stop the Toronto Raptors from trading for Kawhi Leonard. Butler made three All-Star trips with the Bulls and another with the Wolves last season.

Timberwolves training camp is scheduled to begin next week. The Wolves will hold their annual media day on Monday, and that should be a lot of fun for everybody.
