Rapper Mac Miller has reportedly died of an overdose. It appeared as of Friday, the comments on Grande's Instagram had been disabled following the news of Miller's death.

TMZ reports that Miller was found dead in his home in California earlier today from what's been described as an apparent overdose.

Los Angeles police said they were responding to a possible dead body at his Studio City home.

Mac Miller, performing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on August 13.

He was found to have a blood alcohol content twice the legal limit after the incident, and was charged with DUI as a result.

Miller had been in a long-term relationship with Ariana Grande, which ended this past May.

2016 album The Divine Feminine would give Miller his highest Australian chart ranking, at #13 on the Album Charts, and Swimming, released last month, reached #21.

Chance the Rapper said he was speechless after learning about Miller's death and recalled a time the young rapper essentially took him under his wing.

Mac Miller was 26. "I will continue to pray from the bottom of my heart that he figures it all out and that any other woman in this position does as well", she said.

Miller told Rolling Stone that he used promethazine and cocaine often, specifically after the release of his 2012 debut album Blue Slide Park.

"He was one of the sweetest guys I ever knew, "the rapper wrote on Twitter".

Miller loved the store so much he made music video there in 2011.

Miller has performed with Action Bronson; Tyler, The Creator; Earl Sweatshirt; Lil Wayne; 2Chainz; and Vince Staples. I am completely broken. "There was always a lot more to me than what people wanted to say, that's the only thing that ever bothered me", Miller said.
