Third body found after boat collision at California-Arizona border

A boat collision near Moabi Regional Park on Saturday evening resulted in 13 injuries and two missing people authorities said

The body of a California woman who was among the four missing after two boats collided head-on in the Colorado River has been found, authorities said. Both boats sank, and passing boaters pulled crash victims from the water.

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office in Kingman, Arizona, said the body of 24-year-old Kirra Drury of Ventura, California was located Tuesday afternoon.

Mortensen says Lewis was a California resident, but her hometown hasn't been determined. Ten people were injured, with one in critical condition, authorities said. Another seven were taken to hospitals by ambulance and treated for less serious injuries, officials said.

In the high-speed collision passengers were ejected and both vessels sunk, said the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.

Around 8 p.m., San Bernardino County Fire personnel responded to Moabi Regional Park, a recreation area about 290 miles east of Los Angeles, where crowds were gathered to celebrate Labor Day Weekend, Victor Valley News reported.

Mr Trump also told Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross he didn't trust him. President, I'm afraid I just can't help you". I think you've always been fair.

Two people were airlifted to University Medical Center of Southern Nevada with life-threatening injuries, the Mojave County Sheriff said in a press conference on Sunday evening.

The name of the boater still missing hasn't been released. Divers have been sent out into the river's waters, which can range from shallow to 30 feet (9 meters) deep.

Search crews have been tirelessly scouring the river since the crash, with the sheriff's office saying it would continue to patrol "until all the unaccounted for passengers are located".

The Colorado River flows along the Arizona-California border. Efforts resumed after daybreak Sunday, and authorities closed off the stretch of the river where the search was taking place.

Another four people were missing. Some of the people on board were thrown into the river while others jumped, Sherwin said. Authorities have deployed helicopters to search from overhead while divers look below the water for any sign of the missing people.
