Man laughs after snatching baseball from little boy at game

The Cubs went on to defeat the St Louis Cardinals 7-2.

Oh boy, that is a bad look as Major League Baseball's Cut 4 noted in its tweet: "When going to a baseball game, DON'T be this guy".

Thankfully, the story has a happy ending, with the Cubs later tracking down the little boy and giving him two baseballs, one of which was signed by infielder Javier Baez. The small boy tries to catch the baseball, but misses it and the ball rolls underneath his seat.

'The same guy helped him get [it],' Chuck Mycoff wrote, adding that the man did not even keep the second ball but gave it to a different child.

MLB All-Star Josh Hader apologizes for history of racist tweets
Hader apologized for the tweets, which were written six and seven years ago, in the locker room after the game. It won't happen again. " There's no excuse for what was said ", Hader said. "I was surprised", Cain said.

Apparently, the man ended up with four balls during the game and he gave away three of them to children sitting around him, including the one who appeared to be wronged in the clip. "A Javier Baez signed ball should take care of it", the Cubs tweeted. There were many foul balls in that section that day and they were happily shared with many deserving fans.

"I spoke with people from the Cubs". Well, according to David Kaplan of NBC Sports Chicago, the man who was vilified had given the boy a baseball earlier in the game.

CBS News reached out to the Cubs but could not independently confirm Kaplan's account. He gave two more away to kids also.
