MLB All-Star Josh Hader apologizes for history of racist tweets

Brewers P Josh Hader's Old Racist, Homphobic, & Sexist Tweets Are Unearthed During All-Star Game (TWEETS)

But sometime around the time Hader allowed a go-ahead three-run homer to the Mariners' Jean Segura in the eighth inning, deep-diving detectives on Twitter dug up a trove of extremely ugly tweets in Hader's timeline from his high-school years.

Major League Baseball pitcher Josh Hader apologized following Tuesday night's All-Star Game after a number of offensive old tweets from his account surfaced earlier in the evening.

Hader apologized for the tweets, which were written six and seven years ago, in the locker room after the game.

Hader was asked about the tweets after the game, and said he was "young, immature, and stupid". I obviously said some things that weren't excusable.

Stearns said the Brewers were in contact with Hader, who is "fully aware of the severity of the situation related to his social media comments, regardless of the timeline of his posts".

Brewers outfielder Lorenzo Cain was asked about the tweets.

It was also reported that members of Hader's family in attendance at the game had changed their shirts to blank National League gear after being told of the developing scandal.

Hader also tweeted out references to fellatio, and used the n-word in several others, which he said might have come from rap lyrics.

Demi Moore Is Surprise Guest at Bruce Willis' Comedy Central Roast
He said that he wanted to be just like Willis and told him that he yearned to "be the global d*ckhead powerhouse you are". Indeed, Willis felt the heat on topics ranging from his one-note acting range, lack of hair, love life and music career.

Hader will reportedly speak with MLB Chief Legal officer Dan Halem Tuesday night to discuss the incident before the league considers realeasing a statement on Wednesday, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reported. It won't happen again.

"There's no excuse for what was said", Hader said.

"I was surprised", Cain said. Like I said, we'll move on from it.

And this explanation especially wasn't a good one: "When you're a kid, you tweet what's on your mind".

"Being 17 years old, you make stupid decisions and mistakes", he said. "He was young. We all say some insane stuff when we're young". You always get in trouble for things you said when you're younger.

It wasn't a great night Hader's family or fans either. We'll move on it. I'm fine. Everybody will be okay.

"You have to give people a second chance", he added, per the New York Post. He said it. It got out there. "I'm moving on from it individually, anyway".
