Apple is developing high-end AirPods, two other enhanced audio accessories

Bloomberg: Premium AirPods, next-gen HomePod and new over-ear Apple headphones coming in 2019

Bloomberg on Monday reported that Apple is working on three new audio products that will all be released in 2019.

As it stands now, AirPods cost $159 in the U.S. The new, rumored pair of in-ear wireless headphones will likely cost more, allowing Apple to price AirPods the same way it prices iPhones, offering a more expensive high-end model and a low-end model like the iPhone SE.

Bloomberg writes that people familiar with the matter expect the Cupertino, California based company to add noise-cancellation and water resistance to its Airpods, as well as increasing the range the earphones work away from an iPhone or iPad.

Alongside the third-generation AirPods, Apple will also apparently be releasing new over-ear headphones after experiencing "development challenges" which pushed the release back from its original late 2018 window.

As for the new over-ear headphones, production is yet to start but they are meant to be comparable to "pricey models from Bose Corp. and Sennheiser". However it seems past year, Apple nearly ditched another port, a rather crucial one in fact.

Uncertain Immigration Votes Set in House
President Trump repeatedly, and falsely, blamed Democrats for the practice and said there was nothing he could do to end it. Later, she toured a section of the facility where the children have bedrooms and was told they maintain their own rooms.

While none of this is unexpected as such, the timescales may be of note.

Apple could be working with Foxconn to ramp up its production of Airpods.

Further down the line, various biometric sensors could also greatly enhance the capabilities of the AirPods family, monitoring your heart rate, for instance, without the need for a phone or watch nearby. While it was initially believed that Apple would start marketing all of its audio products under the Beats brand, it has turned out to be the opposite. An Apple spokeswoman declined to comment.

Enlarge / Sales of Apple's HomePod speaker have reportedly fallen below expectations. An Inventec spokeswoman said the company "will try its best to secure new orders".

Apple is working on a new set of headphones slated for 2019, according to a report from Bloomberg.
