Melania Trump dons 'I really don't care, do u?' jacket

Melania Trump Wears “I REALLY DON’T CARE, DO YOU?” Jacket to Meet with Kids in Detention Center

First Lady Melania Trump has sparked backlash online after she was spotted wearing a Zara jacket that read "I really don't care, do u?" on the back while boarding a plane headed to Texas to visit immigrant children.

But in some sort of bizarrely insensitive fashion no-no, Melania chose to board the plane to the middle of a major human rights debate wearing a long green jacket that said "I don't really care, do u?" on the back.

When is a jacket not just a jacket?

When asked what message the first lady meant to send, spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said, "It's a jacket".

When asked whether the first lady had seen the images of detained children, Grisham said she had. She didn't appear to be wearing the jacket when she arrived in Texas.

Left-leaning criticism isn't necessarily a concern for the first lady. She was told twice a week, but the official noted that there is a process to verify that the persons they are communicating with are their families.

She visited a one-storey red brick building, which houses 55 children between the ages of 12 and 17. When she deplaned in Texas, she had changed into a fitted cream-coloured Safari jacket.

'Allahu Akbar' shouting woman injures two people in France
He said police from Toulon had raided the woman's home in an attempt to discover whether she had links with Islamic State (ISIS). The woman, dressed in black, assaulted a customer at a supermarket in the town of La Seyne-sur-Mer in Var at around 10 a.m.

Some thought the White House actually wanted the media to focus on the jacket so the administration could point out how shallow we are.

Melania said earlier through her spokesperson that she "hates" to see families separated at the border.

Trump's jacket allows her to take control of the narrative, with President Donald Trump's base doubling down on their defense of the first lady and giving the right new ammunition to slam the media. It's more like a dog whistle for Trump's anti-immigrant supporters: "I'm publicly supporting immigrants, but you really know I don't care".

It's possible that Melania, whose focus is on children, may have helped encourage her husband to act.

As for this visit, Trump was guided around by the Upbring CEO, Dr. Kirk Senske, who told the First Lady: "We're honored to show you our shelter".

"He tweeted, "'I REALLY DON'T CARE, DO U?' written on the back of Melania's jacket, refers to the Fake News Media.

She wore the coat as she visited a facility housing migrant children separated from their parents. Her husband, President Barack Obama, was the talk of a 24-hour news cycle when he donned a tan suit in 2014 for a media briefing.
