Sweden shooting: Three dead in Malmo cafe attack

Malmo shooting Several people have been injured police have confirmed

Five people were wounded in central Malmo on Monday night in a shooting incident that Swedish police said was not terrorism-related. None of the victims were identified, in line with Swedish practice.

Witnesses told Swedish media that the men were shot as they left an internet cafe in the southeastern part of the southern Swedish city on Monday evening. A police news conference was expected later Tuesday. Investigators suggest that automatic weapons were used, and are searching for a dark auto that was seen leaving the scene at high speed, Aftonbladet reports. In Malmo alone, there are three or four gang feuds, Sinteus said. We do not want to see that.

The police have stated there is no danger to the public, denying that the shooting was a terror attack of some sort.
