Gal Gadot released the first image of herself in the Wonder Woman outfit on the set of Wonder Woman 1984 today on Twitter.

And now things are hotting up even further, as leading lady Gal Gadot revealed what appears to be a glimpse of her fresh costume for the upcoming 2019 sequel. Earlier this week, both Jenkins and Gadot shared some pictures from the production, including one of Chris Pine, which officially confirmed the return of Steve Trevor, and a photo of Diana Prince staring at a wall of TV screens.

While you could say that this is merely a matter of difference in color correction, if you look at untouched set photos from the original Wonder Woman, you'll be able to see a distinct difference in the color of the suit before any post-production touches were added. Below the actress showed a new look at her character in costume.

We've learned a lot about the new movie this last week as cameras began rolling with Gal Gadot and Chris Pine returning. Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones) is also cast in a "pivotal role".

Comcast outbids Disney with $65 billion offer for Fox assets
According to regulatory filings, an unnamed company, widely thought to be Comcast , previously made an offer for Fox. Disney wouldn't face the same issues because it isn't a television distributor as the way Comcast and AT&T are.

Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids) will be playing Wonder Woman's nemesis Cheetah in the sequel.

Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Patty Jenkins, Stephen Jones and Gal Gadot are producing the film.

Wonder Woman continues to be the lone bright spot in the flailing DC Extended Universe. Rebecca Roven Oakley, Richard Suckle, Wesley Coller, Geoff Johns and Walter Hamada are the executive producers. Oscar-nominated editor Richard Pearson (United 93) will cut the film.

The movie now has a release date of November 1, 2019, and filming in the D.C. area will continue at least through July.
