Marouane Fellaini will meet with Arsenal this month to discuss a move

According to The Times, Arsenal have scheduled talks with Fellaini for Wednesday.

Arsenal transfer links to Marouane Fellaini are refusing to go away, with the out-of-contract Manchester United star once again heavily tipped to sign for the Gunners.

Arsenal appointed Spanish head coach Unai Emery as his replacement last month.

It is believed new Arsenal boss Unai Emery had been keen to sign the Belgium worldwide when he was Paris Saint Germain manager and his representatives are due to meet with club officials this week. While United want to sign him to a new contract―manager Jose Mourinho is a fan of the Belgian―the former Everton man has made a decision to keep his options open as he wants to be a regular starter.

Afghan policeman, 10 assailants killed in attack on gov't compound in Kabul
It is unclear who carried out the attack, though the southern province is the Taliban's historic heartland. Both the Taliban and IS frequently target Afghanistan's Western-backed government and its security forces.

Fellaini is demanding an improvement on his £80,000-a-week salary at United has rejected the offer of a new one-year deal.

A number of clubs have been linked with a move for the 30-year-old, including Tottenham and Milan, but it appears that Arsenal are now emerging as the favourites for his signature.

Fellaini has been selected in Belgium's World Cup squad and the Red Devils had hoped he would sign his extension before he travelled to Russian Federation for the World Cup.

It's a done deal between the Gunners and Borussia Dortmund, claim talkSPORT, with the broadcaster reporting that Sokratis Papastathopoulos "is set to join Arsenal this week for £15m".
