NFL Owners Terrified Of Trump

President Donald Trump said NFL players who continue to protest during the national anthem

Two prominent Seahawks on Wednesday joined the rising chorus of NFL players who expressed dismay over the league's new policy regarding the national anthem during separate local radio interviews. Trump spoke to "Fox & Friends" in an interview that aired Thursday. However, as a compromise for players who may not want to stand, the league offered players the opportunity to stay in the locker room for the anthem.

The kneeling movement was started back in 2016 by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick as a way to protest racial injustice and police brutality. "So I ask my conservative friends who talk about this issue so much if they will also stand up for protesting #NFL players".

While other players throughout the NFL took a knee to protest racial injustice past year, all Bears players stood during the national anthem all season, locking arms in a show of unity.

According to reports, NFL team owners are scared of Trump, or how the source stated "Our league is f--g terrified of Trump".

However, it was Faf du Plessis who held his nerves and won it for CSK with partners changing at the other end. CSK pegged back Sunrisers at 47 for 3 with both Williamson and opener Shikhar Dhawan (0) back in the dugout.

President Donald Trump has commented on the NFL's new rule against USA national-anthem protests, giving it his broad support and suggesting that players seeking to protest during the anthem should perhaps leave the US. "Or you shouldn't be playing, you shouldn't be there, maybe you shouldn't be in the country".

It wouldn't be wise to neglect anything that POTUS says, so the league and team owners made a decision to react as they are quite scared of what Mr. Trump could do. No measures were taken against those players, but it was said by some team owners that this behavior could get some people benched while Trump yearned for even bigger punishments towards anyone supporting this type of protest.

One team owner told Breer that Trump's name came up a few times but never for an extended discussion, and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones explained Trump's involvement in a similar way.

Responding to the decision Wednesday, the president of the NFL Players Union, which represents current and former players, said in a statement, "The balance between the rights of every citizen in our great country gets crossed when someone is told to just 'shut up and play'". The changes also allow the league to fine teams for any protest during the anthem by one of its players. "I brought it out".
