Melania Trump to announce formal platform

Melania Trump breaks fashion

U.S President Donald Trump, and first lady Melania welcome French President Emmanuel Macron, first lady Brigitte Macron after their arrival at the North Portico for before a State Dinner at the White House April 24, 2018 in Washington, DC. Joining her for the announcement were children who have written to her and whom she has met during her first year as First Lady.

Melania Trump's first speech comes in the 16th month of her White House tenure and is expected to finally give detail to her generally stated goal of aiding the well-being of children.

As a mother and First Lady, Trump said she wants every child to know that it is "safe to make mistakes and there are supportive adults and friends nearby to catch them" if they fall.

"Mrs. Trump wishes to help the next generation by creating change through awareness on a variety of issues that affect children", she said.

The first lady made headlines for her compassionate reaction when one of the children accidentally spilled his drink. Some thing unique though: "She's not narrowed down her platform to just a single topic since has been done previously", Grisham said.

Childish Gambino drops political video for new single 'This is America'
Speaking on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Glover said, "Being a rapper is super awkward". "I really can do anything". The lyrics go from lighthearted ("I know you wanna party") to heavy (" This is America , police be trippin' now").

The role of a First Lady, in terms of having a formal, branded platform, is somewhat undefined. The First Lady responded to that criticism during an appearance with tech leaders in March. Trump denies her accusation. While children navigate many challenges in their daily lives, BE BEST will include three main pillars to include well-being, social media use, and opioid abuse. "Melania, your care and compassion for our nation's children - and I have to say this and I say it to you all the time - inspires us all".

According to the White House, through the initiative the First Lady will promote existing programs that are already working to "overcome the issues they face growing up". Her choice was ridiculed nearly immediately, given her husband's longtime habit of calling people names on Twitter, but Mrs. Trump said the criticism wouldn't discourage her from doing what she thinks is right.

Mrs. Trump took a little more time to pull her initiative together.

"I want to nurture and protect the most valuable part of our society and our future- children", the First Lady said. "I have been criticized for my commitment to tackling this issue and I know that will continue, but it will not stop me from doing what I know is right".
