Cosby victim of mob justice, claims wife

Camille Cosby has released a statement a week after her husband Bill Cosby was found guilty of drugging and assaulting women

Another referred to Camille as an "a**hole" for going after Bill Cosby's alleged victims, and covering for a man who stands as her "meal ticket".

The 80-year-old Cosby is on house arrest while awaiting sentencing that could put him in prison for the rest of his life.

"Someday the truth will prevail, it always does", Mrs Cosby said.

Camille Cosby, 74, said chief accuser Andrea Constand was a liar whose testimony about being drugged and molested at Cosby's home in January 2004 was "riddled with innumerable, dishonest contradictions".

"Once again, an innocent person has been found guilty based on an unthinking, unquestioning, unconstitutional frenzy propagated by the media and allowed to play out in a supposed court of law", she added.

Her almost 800-word statement likened her husband's ordeal to the racially charged killing of Emmett Till and called the accusations and ensuing conviction "mob justice, not real justice".

While there haven't been any new Bill and Camille Cosby divorce rumors swirling since Bill's conviction, multiple social media users reacted to Camille's statement, opining that instead of standing by Bill, she should divorce him instead.

Cosby's wife appeared at his retrial only once, to hear closing statements from the defense.

Netanyahu Says Israel 'Would Love to Have' Trump Attend Jerusalem Embassy Opening
Netanyahu said Israel "would love to have [Trump]" attend the ceremony, though it's unclear if the president will be there. The demonstrators are pressing for a right of return for refugees and their descendants to what is now Israel .

After Bill Cosby's first trial ended in a hung jury and mistrial in June, Camille Cosby penned a searing attack on the Montgomery County justice system that was read by spokesman Andrew Wyatt on the courthouse steps.

Camille Cosby also called for a criminal investigation into the Pennsylvania prosecutor behind her husband's conviction.

She likened his treatment to that of Emmett Till, the black teenager who was kidnapped and murdered after witnesses said he whistled at a white woman in a MS grocery store in 1955.

"If they can do this to Mr. Cosby, they can do so to anyone", she said.

"Since when are all accusers truthful?" she wrote. A more recent example is the case of Darryl Hunt, an African American who in 1984 was wrongfully convicted for the rape and murder of a white woman, only to have DNA evidence establish in 1994 that he did not commit the crime.

In the case of Bill Cosby, unproven accusations evolved into lynch mobs, who publicly and privately coerced cancellations of Bill Cosby's scheduled performances; syndications of "The Cosby Show"; rescissions of honorary degrees and a vindictive attempt to close an exhibition of our collection of African American art in the Smithsonian Museum of African Art. She complained to the show's top producer, Chris Licht, but asked him not to tell human resources about it. Licht told the newspaper he followed her wishes and also talked to Rose about the incident. She argued that her husband's conviction was the result of "exploitive and corrupt" politics after Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele advocated for the comedian's conviction, and she said that Steele and his team's "primary goal is to advance themselves professionally and economically at the expense of Mr. Cosby's life".

"How do I describe the district attorney?"
