YETI Cuts Ties With the NRA

Texas Gun Sense released a statement congratulating YETI saying, "Congratulations for joining a growing number of businesses that have made a decision since the Parkland, FL shooting to change their firearm sales policies and/or cut ties with the NRA".

YETI's attempts at damage control is to say our statement is not accurate.

YETI said that although they are ending a discount program for several organizations including the NRA, they plan to replace it with a new customized option.

Yeti said in a statement Monday that they had notified the NRA Foundation and other organizations weeks ago that they were eliminating a group of outdated discounting programs.

As for Hammer's claim that Yeti no longer supports young outdoor enthusiasts, the company said "nothing is further from the truth". That certainly isn't sportsmanlike, ' it continues.

Amazon launches direct-to-your-ride delivery option
Customers can track when their vehicle was unlocked and relocked through the app, which also provides a way to rate the service. The company will be launching the new service in partnership with two major automaker companies- General Motors and Volvo .

"(If) YETI can't stand behind the NRA, I ain't standing behind YETI no more", he said in the video.

Other companies that have stopped discounts or programs with the NRA include several auto rental businesses, MetLife, Delta and United airlines, along with Nebraska-based First National Bank of Omaha, the nation's largest privately owned bank holding company. These activities enable them to appreciate America and enjoy our natural resources with wholesome and healthy outdoor recreational and educational programs.

YETI products are popular among those who love the outdoors and a cool (or hot) drink, making them a favorite with hunters, fishermen, campers and tailgaters.

In response, multiple outdoor cooler companies have posted on social media about their commitment to the Second Amendment, with one even donating $10 to the NRA with each purchase till the end of the month. This is not the first call to boycott as other companies such as Delta Airlines and Enterprise Rent-A-Car have confirmed that they will cut their ties with the NRA.

YETI Coolers has been facing backlash since severing its ties with the NRA and its competitor just schooled the cooler-maker on the Second Amendment. They will only say they will no longer sell products to The NRA Foundation. But being that YETI claims, "the facts directly contradict [the NRA's] statement", it's likely they will.
