Long-lost daughter reunited with family after 24 years

Shaking Six-Week-Old Son

Mr. Wang even became a taxi driver to see if he would find her while working.

The heartbroken fruit-seller and his wife searched for years, with Wang Mingjing even working as a driver for a ride-hailing service in hopes his missing daughter might step into his vehicle as a passenger. It turns out she grew up just 12 miles away from her birth parents. They took their eyes off their 3-year-old daughter for a second when Wang had gone to change money and she disappeared into the crowd of people.

When he was back minutes later, his daughter was nowhere to be found, Chinese media reported. He put advertisements in newspapers, asked people online for help and finally, several years back, began driving for ride-hailing service Didi in the hopes that "he might one day pick her up as a passenger", according to BBC.

After she contacted Wang earlier this year, it was revealed that she shared similar traits to the child which went missing 24 years ago, including a small scar on her forehead. It had been drawn by a police sketch artist who had heard Wang's story. Qifeng was shocked by the drawing since it looked a lot like her.

After talking online with Wang, Kang made a decision to get a DNA test.

On Monday, Mr Wang and Kang Ying spoke for the first time via a voice messenger app, thecover.cn reported (in Chinese). She had been told by her adoptive father that she was found on the side of the road and did not have a mother.

US employers add 103000 jobs in March, fewest in 6 months
ADP, which calculates based on its own payroll services, had predicted a net gain of 241,000 jobs in March. Payrolls in the sector fell 15,000, the first drop since last July, after surging 65,000 in February.

As Wang anxiously awaited his long-lost daughter's arrival from the Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, he could not contain his excitement.

After finding her daughter, Wang cryingly said: "From now on, Dad is here - you don't need to worry about anything - Dad will help you".

Kang Ying could not deny the similarities between the sketch and her face. At this point a police officer came into the waiting room where this moment of carnal pleasures was attached to the woman and killer her daughter.

The following day, they were reunited after 24 years. "It's Jesus" Day!'" she said in an interview with USA media.

"Daddy loves you", Wang cried as he hugged his daughter.
