Military alerted of Boko Haram presence several times before #DapchiGirls abduction

4 teenage girls who managed to escape the kidnapping of 110 of their peers- most of whom were returned today

"Is Amnesty International trying to undermine the outcome of this committee?"

The group expressed concern "about the actual motive of AI, and it's persistent criticism of the Nigerian security forces".

Despite being repeatedly told that Boko Haram fighters were heading to Dapchi, it appears that the police and military did nothing to avert the abduction.

It warned AI against actions that could sabotage the efforts of the security agencies and indirectly gingering the Boko Haram terrorists.

But Nigerian military authorities, in a ranting response on Tuesday, said no security force was informed that Boko Haram fighters were advancing towards Dapchi for the abduction of schoolgirls, contrary to the claim of AI. "To demoralise friendly nations and people collaborating with security forces to end the forces of evil in the North-East", they said. They did that accurately in the previous administration and the United States invoked the leahy law against Nigeria at the peak of the Boko Haram insurgency.

The abduction was a repeat of another Boko Haram attack that happened when militants invaded Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State and kidnapped 276 female students in April 2014.

The report by AI stated that: "The Nigerian authorities have failed in their duty to protect civilians, just as they did in Chibok four years ago". The question is; what is the motive of the AI?

Texans sign ex-Cardinals DB Mathieu
Mathieu played in every game last season for the first time in his career and led the league in defensive snaps played. The Texans , assuming quarterback Deshaun Watson is healthy again after tearing his ACL, have a chance to be good.

"The answer is simple; President Trump of the United States of America has agreed to collaborate with the current government of Nigeria to end insurgency in the North-east and AI wants to do everything within its powers to make sure that the US-Nigeria Anti-terrorism cooperation does not succeed in accordance with their paymasters design".

According to a statement issued jointly signed by its convener and registrar, Comrade Odeyemi Oladimeji and Atani John respectively, "Nigerian Security Forces ignored warnings about Boko Haram attack on Dapchi" as totally undeserving and a joke taken too far by Amnesty International, at the expense of Nigeria's Internal Security and sovereignty. "Show us where the girls' school is!"

Policemen stand on guard at the premises of Government Girls Technical College, where 110 girls were kidnapped by Boko Haram Islamists at Dapchi town in northern Nigerian on 19 February 2018.

The police chief stated this in Abuja on yesterday at the Force Headquarters during a meeting with Squadron, Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU), and Special Protection Unit (SPU), Commanders.

It said the military's decision meant "the closest personnel were based one hour's drive" from the town. Though not the fault of the police, the incidence was a national embarrassment.

"If the military knew they were not going to act they should have informed us and we would have closed the school and asked all the girls to go home", Manzo said, adding parents have presented their information to the committee set up by Nigeria's president to investigate.

Kachalla Bukar whose 14-year-old daughter, Aisha, was taken in the February 19 raid told CNN local police officers deserted Dapchi town when residents reported the incident.
