Apple to hold annual software developer conference in June

New iPad Pro and affordable 9.7-inch iPad coming this year

The conference is primarily about Apple's software development, so we're expecting to see previews of iOS 12, macOS 10.14, watchOS 5, and tvOS 12.

Apple has finally provided a date for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), the tech giant's first major event of the year. However, Apple hasn't been shy about teasing new hardware at the event too, even with its software focus.

San Jose, CA, June 4-8 When technology connects with creativity, incredible ideas come to life.

Trump's steel tariff wrong way to deal with problem
German Chancellor Angela Merkel urged dialogue and warned that "no one can win in such a race to the bottom". But the Saturday meetings in Brussels, the capital of the European Union, appeared to be inconclusive.

Last year's WWDC 2017 surprised everyone with a massive push into VR and more importantly into AR with a demo from Wingnut AR as presented in the video below. You can start applying right away up until March 22 10am PDT.

For the second year in a row, Apple will hold the event at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California, as opposed to the Moscone Center in San Francisco, where the company used to regularly hold the event. While not many details have been given surrounding the new software, we did hear a little while ago Apple plans to refine the experience of using iOS 12 while also offering cross-platform compatibility between iOS and macOS.

Students are an integral part of the Apple developer community. The program offers up a free ticket to students in STEM organizations.
