The free-agent point guard and former NBA MVP will sign with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the rest of the season, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Thursday, citing NBA sources. Rose was married during an extended leave from the Cavaliers earlier this season.

The point guard was so dominant when he first arrived in the National Basketball Association, that his earlier achievements necessitated a rule change to ensure he gets properly paid, but some seven years later, Rose joins the Timberwolves as a shadow of the star he once was. Players like Gibson, Butler, Rose, Deng and Noah are Thibodeau's security blankets and right now he needs to feel a sense of security. Jones and Rose are not very effective when playing off the ball offensively, and while Teague can be - which helps when playing alongside a healthy Jimmy Butler - taking the ball out of his hands heightens his weakness (namely, individual and team defense) while mitigating his strengths. The point guard has been out of the league for the last month after he was traded by Cleveland to Utah at the deadline, then waived by the Jazz. However, the honeymoon ended quickly after the guard only suited up for 16 games.

Royal wedding budget 'doubles' for Megan Markle's dress
In September 2011, Markle married her longtime boyfriend, producer Trevor Engelson, and celebrated with a Jewish wedding ceremony. She seemingly broke another royal tradition by wearing head-to-toe black during a public engagement in Cardiff.

It's only fitting that the former MVP have another go at it without any interference from management in the process, but at the same time, some blame Thibs for overusing Rose which accelerated his injuries in the first place. "I just want to win and help this team and franchise win". "Come in, be a good teammate and try to help us win". For his career, Rose is averaging 19.2 points and 5.8 assists. Over the last two years when healthy the 9-year-veteran has played well. "Usually when I'm comfortable, I play well".
