'The Bachelor' finale recap: Lauren forgives Arie, Becca becomes the Bachelorette

Arie Luyendyk Jr dumped Lauren then proposed to Becca before dumping her for Lauren

"They're amoebas on fleas on rats".

Let's make this clear: It's wrong to blame Lauren for really anything here given that she wasn't openly trying to sabotage the relationship between Arie and Becca - she can't help her having feelings and we shouldn't blame her for having feelings.

On Monday night's three-hour finale of ABC's the "Bachelor," the show hit a new low when Arie Luyendyk Jr. proposed to Minnesota's own Becca Kufrin, then changed his mind and dumped her for runner-up Lauren Burnham in an unedited, excruciating scene for all the world to watch.

Although all is well today for the reality star couple, they faced backlash in 2009 after Jason, 41, broke up with his season's victor, Melissa Rycroft, on After the Final Rose after admitting he still had feelings for Molly.

The Bachelorette season 14 is expected to premiere later this year on ABC.

Since the show's producers wouldn't give Arie her private number, he direct-messaged Lauren via Instagram on New Year's Eve to potentially set up a conversation. "I think the pressure of this, the pressure of being on The Bachelor, knowing there's a timeline and needing to make that decision on that day ..." She chirpily talked about her experience of the Luyendyk Jr.'s season and her life since the filming wrapped up. Since at least a few of the women are still under contract with The Bachelor and its spin-offs, it's a little disingenuous when Chris Harrison asks them whether or not they should have aired the excruciating breakup. But don't worry future husband, I'll love and accept you just the way you are. 'There was a better and more tactful way to do it. We crossed The Bachelor finale finish line and in two weeks, I'm going to tell you that none of it mattered.

James Harden is Wearing a Call of Duty
Now new evidence has surfaced suggesting that the new " Call of Duty " title does exist and it may officially be revealed soon. Activision could also be working on a Battle Royale mode in the new Call of Duty title due to be released this year.

Deja vu. Aussie Bachelor Blake dumped his victor Sam in 2014 after proposing to her in Thailand. But now we're all like, "BYE BOY" because he has Lauren and we get to watch Becca hand out roses to a slew of eligible bachelors.

I have absolutely no doubt at all Becca will find someone worthy of her.

You think that's the end, but no. And according to her Bachelor cast mates who were in the audience tonight, she has also even gone so far as to worry about Lauren in the midst of this whole ordeal, and sincerely hopes Arie has the right intentions with her.

Honestly, the only way this Bachelor season is going to end happily is if Becca and Lauren tell Arie to shove off and end up dating each other.

But reality television is at times a vicious beast and although these shows pretend to offer love and romance, I'm no longer convinced. I'm ready to face this life with you and all that comes with it - the good and the bad.
