Rob Gronkowski returns from Tremendous Bowl to seek out house burglarized

Super Bowl LII: Updates, TV, live stream for New England Patriots vs. Philadelphia Eagles (photos, poll)

The New England Patriots star's home was burglarized Monday, just one day after he and his teammates lost Super Bowl LII to the Philadelphia Eagles.

If a disappointing defeat at the Super Bowl wasn't enough, imagine coming home from the big game to discover you were robbed.

The police chief wouldn't go into detail about what was taken, but a dispatcher was heard saying "multiple safes and possibly guns" were taken on a recording of a call with responding officers.

"We are not releasing any information on the property stolen or possible suspects at this time to preserve the integrity of the criminal investigation", Baker told HuffPost. He recovered in time to suit up for the Super Bowl where he had nine catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns. The Patriots returned to MA on Monday afternoon.

The Washington Post reported that a neighbor did notice something was off about the house but didn't call for help.

United Kingdom court to decide validity of Assange arrest warrant
She said he would be able to argue his case and "put an argument for reasonable cause" for breaching his bail conditions. Senior district judge Emma Arbuthnot is due to give her ruling , although either side can appeal against the decision.

Police in Foxborough, Massachusetts, released a portion of the call on Tuesday.

The Eagle-Tribune reported Gronkowski told friends that football injuries "have taken a toll on him". Police say the door to Goon's room in the home was broken down. "His gate is never open", said Tom Savino.

Chief Baker would not say if there was a security system in the home or if there was any surveillance video of the robbery.

Gronkowski is still under contract through the 2019 season, as he still has two years left on his six-year, $54 million extension with $19 million left in both base salary and bonuses.

Injuries are nothing new for the tight end, either, as he has undergone multiple back and forearm surgeries and played a mere eight games in 2016, seven games in 2013 and 11 games in 2012. "I'm just going to reflect on the season, probably with the boys, and see what happens from there".
