Las Vegas Shooting Documents Include Second Person Of Interest

"I was like, 'Good lord, what is going on?'" The agents who visited him, he said, told him he wasn't in trouble but said they needed to ask him some questions. A message on Specialized Military Ammunition's website says the business is "closed indefinitely".

Court records show authorities initially identified two "persons of interest" in addition to the lone gunman, Stephen Paddock, in the early hours after the Las Vegas shooting.

Haig told Newsweek he was questioned by agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives after the October 1 shooting.

"Contrary to the discussion in the court proceeding, a draft autopsy report (for Paddock) was not provided by the coroner to law enforcement", Clark County officials said in the release.

Earlier this month, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Joe Lombardo, in response to a question from CNN, said another person is under investigation, which is being led by federal authorities.

Air Force One departs Las Vegas past the broken windows on the Mandalay Bay hotel, where shooter Stephen Paddock conducted his mass shooting along the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S., October 4, 2017. The shooting further shocked the world when investigators failed to find any sort of motive, even though there was evidence proving that Paddock had planned the shooting for months.

However, the Las Vegas Review-Journal identified one person as Douglas Haig from police documents.

Bradley, 27, has been bothered by a groin injury this season, which caused him to miss seven straight games earlier in the season. In a new environment on a playoff team, Bradley could rediscover his old form and give a contender a valuable perimeter defender.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal, along with other media outlets, sought the ruling from District Judge Elissa Cadish, who unsealed the records related to the Route 91 Harvest festival shooting. That company, which started in 1991, sells ammunition by phone, according to its website.

Cadish later ordered the full document not be published without redactions, but she acknowledged she couldn't order the newspaper to retract the name. The Las Vegas Review-Journal, citing police documents, identifies that person as Douglas Haig. She noted that there is still an ongoing investigation regarding one other individual connected with the shooting.

Paddock opened fire on the Route 91 Harvest music festival from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on October 1, killing 58 people and injuring more than 800 others.

Authorities have said that a motive for the worst mass killing in modern USA history has not been determined, but have maintained that he acted alone.

Separately, Judge Timothy Williams ruled that the Clark County coroner should release autopsy records of the shooter and the 58 people killed by gunfire, with victims' names blacked out.

Haig said on "CBS This Morning" on Wednesday, that he sold more than 700 rounds of ammunition to Paddock, but had no connection to the man and had no idea what he was planning. He searched "do police use explosives" on September 15, 2017, as well as "SWAT Las Vegas".
