Canadian man's snow vehicle tricks police, gets 'ticket'

Montrealer makes fake car out of snow to confuse police

Simon Laprise used snow from outside his home to create a replica of a DeLorean DMC-12, WGCL reported.

Snow plows removed the snow vehicle the next day.

It might be obvious for a police officer to target an illegally parked vehicle but not all is as it seems.

The work of art, which loosely resembles an iconic DeLorean, gained a finishing touch in the form of a real windscreen wiper, which Laprise found on the floor while crafting the project. Laprise said he did it as a joke for the regular snow-clearing patrols.

He posted a picture of the confused cop standing next to his auto - made to look like a DeLorean from Back to the Future.

Apple vows to contribute $350 billion to United States economy, create 20000 jobs
The $30bn in capital expenditures will come as part of $350bn that Apple expects to spend in the U.S. over the next five years. In December, Apple agreed to pay the disputed amount into an escrow account while it appealed the case in court.

The police apparently enjoyed the prank, writing in a ticket to Laprise in French that read, 'You made our evening'.

Simon Laprise is a designer.

A confused policeman stopped to see if it was real, as cars aren't allowed to be kept in a snow removal zone in Canada.

Laprise, a 33-year-old machinist, still got a ticket - but it was fake just like his vehicle.

The next day, unfortunately, the artist's creation was completely destroyed as snowplows came through, leaving nothing behind.
