Kevin Spacey investigated by Scotland Yard over third complaint of sexual assault

London's Scotland Yard has launched yet another investigation into Kevin Spacey's behavior on Wednesday, its third in a span of several months. After Rapp first made allegations against Spacey, he offered an apology in which he publicly came out as a gay man for the first time. "It follows two other investigations into alleged sexual assaults by Spacey on men in the South London borough of Lambeth, in 2005 and 2008".

Spacey, who faces allegations of sexual assault by a number of men in the United Kingdom and in the USA, was first accused of assault by actor Anthony Rapp.

An unnamed man filed a complaint against the Oscar victor a month ago, alleging Spacey sexually assaulted him in London in 2005. Scotland Yard had initiated its primary investigation into those charges soon after. Police officers from the Child Abuse and Sexual Assault segment of the police are now looking at Kevin Spacey. As a result, Spacey was pulled from the show for its sixth and final season and his latest film, Ridley Scott's All the Money in the World, re-cast and re-shot the film in a matter of weeks with Christopher Plummer replacing Spacey in all of his scenes.

Theatre bosses have received over 20 complaints against Spacey since actor Anthony Rapp claimed Spacey sexually assaulted him when he was 14.

Spacey has not commented on the accusations that are being investigated and has not been charged with a crime.
