According to reports, Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things fame will be seen as an actor and producer in a new series of films based on the Enola Holmes Mysteries novels. That story established a fourteen-year old Enola as a very good detective in the shadow of her two famous older brothers. Not sure even Eleven could pull that off. Per Deadline, Brown will also produce through her company PCMA Productions.

The character of Enola was created by award-nominated author Nancy Springer in 2006.

Nonetheless, Springer created the character of Enola Holmes herself and she did not appear in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's original Sherlock novels. That's not all she has in the works, though - in addition to the Enola Holmes mysteries, Brown has an upcoming role in the Godzilla sequel, Godzilla: King of Monsters. No further casting has been announced at this time. However, watch this space.
