New Packers GM Brian Gutekunst speaks at an introductory press conference Monday

New Cleveland Browns general manager John Dorsey has added former Green Bay executives Eliot Wolf and Alonzo Highsmith to his revamped front office. He has considerable experience as he also worked in the roles of director of player personnel, director of pro personnel, assistant director of player personnel, and assistant director of pro personnel.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports that the Browns have hired Wolf as assistant general manager on a four-year deal.

"My goal is to find the right person and general manager who will be able to get us back to where we all think we should be and that's winning Super Bowls", team president Mark Murphy, who led the search, said last week.

Eliot Wolf started working as a scout with the Packers in 2004 and was promoted five times, most recently to director of football operations in 2016.

It's a big loss for Green Bay, and potentially another sign that their grip on the NFC North is slipping. He's someone I've looked up to and has always been a mentor to me. The Browns finished the regular season without a victory and are now 1-31 in the last two seasons under head coach Hue Jackson. The Packers also ranked second in the National Football League with an average of 25.3 points per game from 1999-17.

The Packers officially announced Brian Gutekunst as their new General Manager Monday. Noel, Donahoe and Zegers all previously spent time in the Kansas City Chiefs personnel department.

The Browns also confirmed three other hires further down the organizational chart, the dismissal of senior personnel executive Ryan Grigson and that both previous vice presidents of player personnel Andrew Berry and Ken Kovash will be retained.
