Why Braun Strowman won't face Brock Lesnar one-on-one at the Royal Rumble

WWE Raw

A subsequent WWE announcement provided to 411 noted that the victor will get a championship opportunity at WrestleMania 34. Now, to cap off 2017, Stephanie McMahon announced to the world that for the first time ever, the Women of the WWE will compete in their own Royal Rumble match.

Out of all the women now employed by WWE, there is no one who has been portrayed as strong as Asuka.

This year, WWE created the first-ever women's tournament, Mae Young Classic, which included 32 of the top female competitors from 16 countries, underscoring the breadth and global diversity of women in sports entertainment.

- Lesnar makes his return to WWE television on this show. For the second straight week, the entire women's division ended up in the ring brawling, with Paige, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville taking on everyone else.

Ex-'Apprentice' Star Omarosa to Tell All About White House
Whoopi Goldberg excoriated Omarosa on " The View " and pointedly said the fired White House official is "nasty" to women of color. Her resignation from her job as director of communications for the office of the public liaison is effective January 20.

One of the women not getting talked about enough as a possible victor is Nia Jax. By my count, there are 11 active women on the Raw roster, and 10 on the SmackDown side. As the most physically imposing female Superstar on the roster, she should be portrayed as the clear favorite heading into the Royal Rumble.

Next month at Royal Rumble, Lesnar will defend his Universal title against Kane and Braun Strowman.

The main event on this week's episode of WWE Raw was a six woman tag match. While not all WWE rumors come to light, this one finally did.

The Women's Revolution going on in WWE right now will continue at the Royal Rumble.
