Klopp wants more consistency from Liverpool players

Mohamed Salah

Philippe Coutinho turned down the chance to commit his immediate future to Liverpool after scoring a fantastic goal in Sunday's 4-0 Premier League win at Bournemouth.

"(He is) a very important player for us, like the others.

"As a manager you don't like too much to talk always about Mo; he knows how much I respect him, I like him", Klopp said.

He gives us his all every game and that's all you can ask of him.

He also expressed that he didn't like the name, "Fab Four" - a term that has started being used to describe the quarter of Salah, Coutinho, Mane and Firmino, and a link to the city's Beatles connections.

Klopp's men extended their unbeaten league streak to nine games under precious little pressure, getting back to winning ways after successive draws against Everton and West Brom and climbing into the top four as a result.

Wenger asked about Man Utd interest, as he ends Mesut Ozil uncertainty
Arsenal signed Alexandre Lacazette in a £52m deal from Ligue 1 side Lyon to the FA Cup holders in the summer transfer window.

"We need to bring all together that we can and play intensive football".

Salah made up for his earlier miss by turning Natan Ake inside out before curling his shot for his 14th league goal of the season on the stroke of half time.

"The intensity in the first half maybe we didn't have in the second half". "But with the squad rotation we have to keep performing".

"He's been the most professional person I've seen all season; he's been top quality from the start and every time he gives his all for the club".

Coutinho has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona even though Liverpool turning down three massive bids from them in the summer transfer window. "But we have to be consistently good because we are Liverpool - that's what we have to learn". "We were flat today for whatever reason, we never got going".
