Kaka retires from football

It was with AC Milan that Kaka made his name becoming Europe's finest footballer

Kaka closes his career at 35 years-old, having been one of the greatest midfielder of his generation.

He also added that he might continue taking part in the football world: "I will continue in football but in a different role". I wanted to thank you so much for your football, for our 17 years of friendship and for joining me in Orlando. He also won the 2002 World Cup with Brazil, who he was capped for 92 times from 2002 to 2016, and the Ballon d'Or as best player in the world in 2007.

Kaka began his career at Sao Paolo before earning a move to AC Milan where he won the Serie A title and the 2007 Champions League.

"I needed some time to think and make a very quiet decision, very calm and very conscious of what I would like for my professional life", he said.

Matt Lauer is the former co-host of NBC's " Today " show, who was sacked last month amid allegations of sexual harassment. There are few metrics in the world that offer as much insight into our society as Google's annual " Year in Search ".

"I prepared myself a lot to be a professional footballer and I want to prepare myself for this new role, I want to see and observe a little from afar".

But Kaka told Globo he intends to take on a sporting director role within the game and revealed a proposal from Milan featuring him playing initially before moving upstairs. I went to Europe to watch some games, to feel the emotion of the game there, where football really has its highest point.

"I would like to join a club as a sports director, someone who stands between the field and the club". The risky playmaker told Globo TV on Sunday that "the cycle of my career as a player ends here".

Kaka announced this year he would not extend his contract with Orlando City but he opened the door to a possible return to Milan, the club where he made his name.
