Ex-Wife Of Lorenzen Wright Arrested, Charged With His Murder

Sherra Wright ex-wife of Lorenzen Wright arrested in California

Now, Wright's ex-wife, Sherra Wright-Robinson (seen at left above), was arrested Friday night in Riverside, California and charged with conspiracy, first-degree murder and criminal attempt first degree murder, with the attempted murder charge revolving around a prior attempt to kill Wright. She was arrested Friday night in California and has a court date there Monday ahead of her extradition to Tennessee. The then-34-year-old had been reported missing 10 days before authorities found his corpse, and until recently, the seven-year investigation remained an unsolved, high profile case. He was shot multiple times.

There was a break in the high-profile cold case when the gun used to murder Wright was found in a MS lake.

Turner was arrested December 5 and faces the same charges as Wright. He pleaded not guilty. Media reports have said he and Sherra Wright attended the same church. On November 9, an Federal Bureau of Investigation dive team recovered a gun used in Wright's murder from a lake in Walnut, Mississippi.

Lorenzen Wright's mother Deborah Marion, told The Commercial Appeal newspaper that a police official told her Wright-Robinson will be charged with first-degree murder, the same charge Turner faces.

Goods would only say that Wright-Robinson and Turner knew each other. "The law enforcement should do what's best to find out who's the killer".

Though published as fiction, her book, "Mr. Tell Me Anything", the story of a deceitful, philandering basketball player who grows up in MS, moves to Memphis, marries an older woman and becomes a top pro draft pick, bears an uncanny resemblance to the real-life story of Lorenzen and Sherra Wright.

Ducks Look To Finish Strong vs Boise State
The last time Freeman addressed the subject, after a rout of Oregon State in the Civil War, Freeman said "I don't know". The Ducks didn't have much luck in conference matchups this season, as they posted a meager 4-5 record in Pac-12 play.

Rallings opened his news conference with a statement about the Sherra Wright's arrest.

She also appeared disgusted by suggestions that she played part in her ex-husband's death.

Sherra Wright divorced Lorenzen Wright months before he died, her divorce attorney Gail Mathes told the Daily News in 2010.

"I'm first a wife", Wright-Robinson answered.

Wright, who was 34 at the time of his death, was selected with the seventh overall pick of the 1996 National Basketball Association draft by the Los Angeles Clippers.
