Arrest made in connection to missing Onslow County girl

Mother's boyfriend is arrested in connection to disappearance of 3-year-old Mariah Woods and police believe she is dead

- The Onslow County Sheriff's Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation made an arrest late Friday in connection to the disappearance of Mariah Kay Woods, 3, missing since Monday. Kimrey is the live-in boyfriend of Mariah Woods' mother Kristy Woods, CBS affiliate WNCN reported. Kimrey went before a state magistrate and has been charged with Concealing of Death, Obstruction of Justice, 2nd Degree Burglary, Felony Larceny, and Possession of Stolen Property.

He is being held on $1,010,000 bond.

District Attorney Ernie Lee has been consulted on the current charges and additional charges could be pending as the investigation continues.

In a statement issued just before 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, the sheriff's office said that information gathered in the search for Mariah led authorities to believe she is dead, although no body has been recovered. On Friday morning, the search for 3-year-old Mariah intensified with a renewed effort that included hundreds of volunteers. Among them are the FBI's Child Abduction Rapid Deployment team and Team Adam from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The search for Mariah entered a fifth day Friday.

At some point in the five hours between then, she said someone abducted the child - who has a walking impediment - from her bedroom. Her mother told investigators that she last saw Mariah late Sunday night.

Flynn's plea is Mueller's key to White House gates
As part of Flynn's plea deal he agreed to "cooperate fully, truthfully, completely, and forthrightly" with the special counsel's office.

They were sent straight to the FBI's base in Quantico, Virginia, for testing on Wednesday afternoon.

'Someone just walked right up in there, grabbed the 3-year-old out of the bed and she didn't cry, she didn't scream? Woods told WCTI-TV in New Bern earlier in the week. Once they realized she was missing, the couple said they called authorities.

In a tearful television appearance on Tuesday, she said: 'Please, bring her back. "She's my baby. She's my everything".

Residents were moved to action following Woods' public appeals for help in the search for her "very sweet, loving girl" with blue eyes and long brown hair.

The FBI estimates that 600 people turned out to join the search for a missing North Carolina child, and some had to be turned away.
