Chip Kelly to decide between UCLA and Florida

Chip Kelly to choose between Florida and UCLA not interested in third suitor report says

Does Florida already have things in place to make Chip Kelly the next head coach of the program?

Sports attorney Darren Heitner, who graduated from the University of Florida, reported on Wednesday that Kelly signed an agreement with Florida on Sunday.

The Gators have been conducting a head coaching search since firing Jim McElwain earlier this season.

The paper says Kelly is considering the head coaching jobs at UCLA and Florida, but rebuffed interest from Tennessee and, "is believed to have turned away interest from Nebraska".

The Los Angeles Times reported Kelly met with a contingent of athletics officials from UCLA as the Bruins look to replace Jim Mora Jr., who was sacked on Sunday.

Oakland Raiders vs. Denver Broncos - 11/26/17 NFL Pick, Odds, and Prediction
With Siemian at the helm, the Broncos nearly upended the Chiefs at home in a close game plagued by turnovers from the quarterback. Lynch has not played since injuring his throwing shoulder in the third preseason game against Green Bay.

On Tuesday, it was revealed that Kelly and UCLA had met to discuss the now open position. But it seems Kelly has honed in on Gainesville or Los Angeles as his next coaching destination, and it would take something big to change his mind.

Kelly posted a 46-7 record at OR from 2009-12 and was widely regarded as one of the best offensive minds in the game during that span. Former offensive line coach Adrian Klemm was slapped with a two-year order in 2016 for organizing training services and housing for two recruits in March 2014.

Kelly then coached the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles to a 26-21 record over three seasons before being fired with one game remaining in the 2015 season.

Kelly has been out of coaching since 2016 after two National Football League stops with the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers were less than successful as he finished 28-35 in the pros.
