Harrison Ford Still Playing Hero ... Helps Woman Who Drove Off Highway

Harrison plays the hero once again

Fire officials in Santa Paula, California, north of Los Angeles, confirm to ABC News that on Sunday afternoon, Ford helped a woman who was involved in a single-vehicle crash after her auto veered off the side of the road into an embankment.

TMZ reports that eyewitnesses saw Harrison driving behind the stranger when she lost control of her auto and wound up crashing into an embankment right off the freeway.

Ford rescued the woman from the vehicle and stayed with her until an EMS crew arrived on the scene. He and several other drivers pulled over to help the driver.

The woman reportedly suffered minor injuries in the crash. Together, they were able to help get the woman out of the auto as they waited for paramedics to arrive.

Apple delays HomePod release until 2018
Although developers can make apps for Siri and HomePod, they're now limited to building things like lists, notes, and messaging. The HomePod also will include Apple's voice-activated assistant Siri to respond to requests like the Echo and Google Home.

The actor was involved in a close call at John Wayne Airport in February when he he mistakenly landed on a taxiway as an American Airlines jet was preparing for takeoff, the Los Angeles Times reported.

This isn't the first time Ford's lent a helping hand though.

In September, Ford helped direct traffic in New York City after a crash caused major traffic jams near the Midtown Tunnel.
