Why we didn't vote for Trump - George W Bush family

George HW Bush on Trump: He's a 'blowhard'

"The Last Republicans", a new book about the relationship between presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, offers the clearest look yet at the disdain both share for President Trump. "Donald Trump is everything that the Bush family is not", Updegrove told CNN.

But Trump, who has made more than 1,300 false or misleading claims in less than a year and nearly constantly insults his many rivals, did win the presidency.

In this endearing, illuminating work, presidential historian Mark K. Updegrove tracks the two Bush presidents from their formative years through their post-presidencies and the failed presidential candidacy of Jeb Bush, derailing the Bush presidential dynasty. And if you talk to those around him, they have confidence in his leadership. But, in fact, George W. Bush had had a lifetime of making bold decisions.

"It allows us to understand how much a renegade Trump is in the Republican Party", he said.

There's no release date set for the latest Overwatch hero yet, though it's likely she'll arrive with the Blizzard World map. Her right hand fires a long-range beam weapon that saps enemies' health, healing Moira and replenishing her biotic energy.

The elder Bush went on to say that he believed Trump was motivated by "a certain ego" that would ultimately be damaging to the Republican party and the country".

In the book, titled "The Last Republicans", the 41 president also revealed that he voted for Trump's Democrat rival Clinton in the 2016 White House race.

In a statement, Trump's press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders did not repeat the White House's direct attacks on the Bush legacies from earlier in the day.

Trump had recently had nice things to say about another former president, Jimmy Carter, whom he once called worst president in United States history. "If they were interested in continuing decades of costly mistakes, another establishment politician more concerned with putting politics over people would have won".
