Jill Scott shares Harvey Weinstein story amid sexual harassment scandal

Harvey Weinstein accused of raping Italian actress in LA hotel room in 2013

Ring said the LAPD conducted a "thorough interview", in which his client told detectives what happened in that hotel room "in graphic detail". "I opened the door and stood by the frame", she recalled.

In response to these allegations against Weinstein, people - including celebrities - took to the digital streets of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to share their stories and increase awareness about the extent of sexual assault and harassment through the #metoo campaign.

Soon after, Weinstein reportedly flew to Arizona to check into a sex-addiction rehabilitation center. She had met Weinstein once very briefly in Rome.

Nyong'o reveals that early in their acquaintance Weinstein invited her to his house for a screening before-lo and behold-offering her a massage. "He was one of the first people I met in the industry, and he told me, 'This is the way it is.' And wherever I looked, everyone seemed to be bracing themselves and dealing with him, unchallenged". "I auditioned for Barbra Streisand for 'The Mirror Has Two Faces, ' and when I went to my audition with her, she said to me, 'I think it's disgusting that you talked to the press.' And what I had said to the press was that I was harassed, I was sexually harassed by Warren Beatty". "There is strength in numbers". "The minute you actually stand up for yourself in Hollywood, you're the insane one", she said. "Whoever that first person was that came forward, that is an incredibly courageous person". Heather Kerr spoke at a news conference alongside her attorney, Gloria Allred. Then he wanted to take off his trousers, she wrote. He then pulled down his zipper and exposed himself.

In the United States each year, approximately 7,500 patients with refractory DLBCL are eligible for CAR-T therapy. There are approximately 72,000 new cases of National Hockey League diagnosed in the United States annually.

The invitation to screen a movie with Weinstein and his children at his CT home turned into a restaurant lunch where he tried to bully her into drinking alcohol, she wrote, followed by him cutting short her viewing of the movie after 15 minutes and taking her to his bedroom where he offered to give her a massage. After some theater work, she quit acting. "I have felt sick in the pit of my stomach", she wrote. The allegations and public discussion of Weinstein's behavior have also prompted scores of people outside Hollywood circles to share their own experiences with sexual harassment and assault on social media using the now-viral hashtag #MeToo.

Since the scandal has exploded, Weinstein has been fired from the Weinstein Co., which he co-founded. He already has been expelled from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Producers Guild and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

Weinstein's representative Sallie Hofmeister responded to these allegations, telling The Post "Mr. Weinstein obviously can't speak to anonymous allegations, but with respect to any women who have made allegations on the record, Mr. Weinstein believes that all of those relationships were consensual".
