According to police and various news outlets, several teens in Genesee County, Michigan made a decision to throw rocks off an overpass to damage vehicles when one rock went through the windshield, striking White causing him to go unconscious.

An bad story out of MI, where a 32-year-old construction worker and father was returning from a work site Wednesday night when the vehicle, which a co-worker was driving, was hit by a large rock.

Four other vehicles had reported hitting other rocks in the road and had pulled onto the shoulder waiting for police when the fatal accident occured.

The Genesee County Sheriff's Office responded at 8:32 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, to southbound I-75 near the Dodge Road overpass to reports of an unknown accident, police previously said in a statement. They were reportedly throwing rocks as a prank. The 32-year-old Genesee County resident was pronounced dead at the hospital. Investigators say the rocks may have been taken from another location. Leyton said he had not authorized charges in connection to the death.
