President Trump to allow release of classified JFK assassination documents

Artifacts from the Kennedy assassination that are preserved in the National Archives include: The bloodstained outfit Jacqueline Kennedy refused to change out of until her return to Washington a bullet found on a stretcher at Parkla

President Donald Trump announced Saturday, with a tweet, that he would allow the classified documents related to the assassination of John F. Kennedy to be released "subject to the receipt of further information". Also, Trump was not clear about whether he would publish all of the documents in full, or with some of them redacted. The National Archives is required to release all of its JFK documents by Thursday, 25 years to the day after President George H.W. Bush signed the JFK Assassination Records Act. The agencies will not say whether they have appealed to the president to keep the records under wraps. Ted Cruz was associated with Kennedy assassin Lee Harvey Oswald, a claim he has never reneged nor apologized for.

That deadline was set in 1992, when Congress passed the JFK Assassination Records Collection Act.

Trump broke this new on Twitter.

But some experts fear the history that may be lost forever in unreadable documents in the trove. Oswald had been honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in 1959, but he was outraged and made violent threats after learning in October 1963 that the military had changed his discharge to a dishonorable one.

Manchester United expect Zlatan Ibrahimovic to return before end of year
It doesn't mean I don't miss the players, I would like them to be here for us. Next up, the Red Devils will collide against Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

The move comes against the advice of federal bodies that have expressed concern at the release of the documents. But he wonders to what degree the papers will ultimately be released.

Others wanted nothing held back and some news outlets were suggesting the timing of the release might help distract from allegations of the President's possible ties to Russian Federation. "But the question remains whether he will open the library in full - every word in every document, as the law requires", Shenon said. Still a small portion, about 3,100 documents created inside the CIA, FBI and Justice Department, have been held back until now.

Most of the files are believed to be from the 1960s and 1970s, stemming from the 1963 assassination and aftermath.

Posner said that the conspiracy theories about the Central Intelligence Agency and mob working together to assassinate a head of state are true - but the target was Cuban leader Fidel Castro, not Kennedy. "We might understand much better why they were watching Oswald".
