Hillary Clinton Pictured In Foot Brace As She Misses Interviews After Fall

Hillary Clinton talks to James Naughtie at the London Literature Festival about her new book and women's rights

Former US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has accused WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange of colluding with a Russian intelligence operation to disrupt the 2016 US election and damage her candidacy for President. "I've broken my toe".

Opening up about the men who she alleges blocked her path to the White House, Clinton says she was "shivved" by the former head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, James Comey, who handled the investigation of her use of a private email server as former secretary of state.

"HRC on The Graham Norton Show, joking about how she caught her heel on some steps & twisted her ankle earlier today", he captioned the post.

There's something wrong with Hillary Clinton. After one failed campaign for the Democratic nomination in 2008 and another for president in 2016, it's clear that for Clinton, third time is not the charm. But I will tell you that is something that I had just heard about and I think that her statement in itself is very disrespectful to our country.

This Morning presenter Philip Schofield also expressed his disappointment over Clinton's missed interview, writing on his Snapchat account, "Supposed to be interviewing Hillary Clinton ... but she's fallen over and hurt her foot!"

"Women's Hour" host Jane Garvey took a picture of Clinton's book, What Happened, and tweeted "I'd read the book and everything".

"And most likely people in the United States to, as I say, weaponize that information, to make up stories, outlandish, often bad stories that had no basis in fact, no basis even in the emails themselves, but which were used to denigrate me, my campaign, people who supported me, and to help (Donald) Trump", Clinton said. "You don't see damaging, negative information coming out about the Kremlin on WikiLeaks", she said.

Hillary Clinton has attacked WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, labelling him "a tool of Russian intelligence" who is doing the bidding of "dictator" Vladimir Putin. That is the reason she lost the election.
